ADVANCED TREATMENTS
ADVANCED TREATMENTS
Chemical peels and micro needling offer powerful ways to refresh the skin from within. These two advanced treatments help tackle texture issues, dark spots, acne scars, and fine lines. With consistent sun exposure and dry desert air, skin in our area need more focused care. These treatments are designed to improve tone, smoothness, and clarity—without the need for invasive procedures.
Chemical Peels
The Benefits of Chemical Peels:
A chemical peel gently removes the outer layer of dull or damaged skin. This allows fresh, new skin cells to rise to the surface. The result is a more even skin tone, a softer feel, and a brighter glow.
- Smooths rough patches and softens fine lines
- Helps fade sun damage and hyperpigmentation
- Clears clogged pores and supports clearer skin
- Brightens dull or tired-looking complexions
Peels vary in strength. A superficial peel targets the surface layer, while stronger peels reach deeper layers. Each one is chosen based on your goals and your skin’s current condition.
Chemical Peel Pre-Treatment Care
To achieve the desired results and care, please review the following to prepare for your Chemical Peel:
- Begin home care products, 1-2 weeks, without irritation, before your first treatment.
- Discontinue use of Over the Counter (OTC) and prescription retinoids, antibiotics and steroids for at least 1-2 weeks before your first treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure before and after your scheduled appointment.
- If you have a cold sore or fever blister breakout before your scheduled appointment, please notify to reschedule.
Chemical Peel Post-Treatment Care
- Continue use of home care products.
- Exercise, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, picking/pulling at the skin and direct sun exposure should be avoided preferably until the peel process is complete. (Approximately 7-10 days)
- With Glycolic and Lactic Peels, there should be little to no flaking.
- With Cranberry and TCA Peels, there is flaking and peeling.
- It is normal to experience slight crusting of the face. Some discoloration may also occur. All these occurrences are temporary and connected to the cell cycle.
Micro Needling
The Benefits of Micro Needling:
Micro needling uses tiny, controlled punctures to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process. These micro-injuries trigger the production of collagen and elastin—two key proteins that keep skin firm and youthful.
- Reduces the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks
- Softens fine lines and wrinkles
- Improves skin texture and tone
- Enhances the absorption of serums and treatments
Many individuals notice smoother, firmer skin after just one micro needling session, though optimal results are typically achieved with a series of 3 to 6 treatments. Because micro needling is well-tolerated by a wide range of skin types, it has become a popular option for those seeking to enhance their appearance with little to no downtime. This treatment can be safely applied to most areas of the body.
